In my 10+ year career I have helped hundreds of families and individuals with autism ranging from toddlers to adults.

Well before my professional career, I was a proud sibling of a person on the autism spectrum.

My brother Andy was diagnosed with autism at age 2.  As we grew up together, I became his communicator, interpreter, playmate and advocate. And during this time, he became my best friend.

As a child I was surrounded by neurodiversity.

Arielle Rubin MD

I engaged in therapeutic and structured play groups as a neurotypical peer and learned so much from those experiences. Growing up, I experienced first-hand the wonderful and far-reaching effects that a multi-disciplinary team of teachers, doctors, therapists, and extended family had on my brother and by extension me and the rest of my family.

However, as I got older, I realized that not everyone on the spectrum receives the comprehensive array of services that my brother had.

I decided to dedicate my career to helping individuals with autism thrive.

Professionally as a Certified Autism Specialist, I have given talks on autism symptoms and the sibling experience at conferences. I have worked in the autism space as an ABA therapist, psychiatrist, and sibling advocate for over 10 years. After I completed my undergraduate degree, I decided to go to medical school to become a psychiatrist to help families and patients coordinate the health sector of the autism space and treat associated mental health struggles.

My Story & Passion

for neurodiverse individuals & families

Everything I teach about, I also resonate with on a personal level.

My brother was on the autism spectrum. We were very close in age and emotionally bonded. I know how the triumphs and heartbreaks feel. I learned how to maintain calm through stress, and find relief and accomplishments in the tiniest wins.

My calling as a psychiatrist and teacher feels natural to me because of my bond with Andy.

Andy is my meaning and inspiration in life.

He suddenly passed in 2021 at the age of 28. I strive to honor his legacy with my work as an autism specialist. After his passing, I took time to reflect on his life and everything he taught me about living life to the fullest with autism. How could I integrate those lessons, and all of my professional experience and training?

Finally, my vision developed into an accessible online community disseminating real information to families coming together to maximize potential and happiness for individuals on the spectrum.
